NA Chairwoman hosts WB leader

At a meeting with the World Bank CEO Kristalina I. Georgieva on March 23, Ngan said the Vietnam-World Bank Country Partnership Framework that the World Bank is working on have similarities to Vietnam’s development priorities.

She urged the WB to work closely with Vietnam’s government agencies to complete the document, saying the Vietnamese National Assembly will closely oversee WB-funded project to ensure their efficiency.

The WB CEO said her organization will continue to help Vietnam, especially in legislation, SOE restructuring, administrative reforms and climate change responses.
