Outcomes of combating “Stamps” reported to Prime Minister by end of October

The Government Office issued documents conveying directions by Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam, Chairman of the National Committee for AIDS, Drug and Prostitution Prevention of Vietnam.

In recent times, various posts and pieces of information about the appearance of a new kind of LSD called “stamp” or LSD poisoning students in various schools.

The Deputy PM assigned the MPS in coordination with Ministry of Education and Training and other relevant agencies and localities to conduct timely and effective prevention and control of such developments. The outcomes should be reported to Prime Minister by the end of October 2016.

Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam 

Ministry of Public Security to enhance management of local areas, especially schools and impose strict punishment on any activities of illegal promotion, smuggling of drugs to students.

The Deputy PM assigned the Ministry of Education and Training to further boost education or information dissemination to students and parents on severe impacts of such drugs, especially LSD. He urged for timely discovery and control of LSD in schools; regular check, assessment and guidance for drug control at in schools and other key areas.
