Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong met with Nguyen Duc Chung, chair of Hanoi People’s Committee, on the morning of March 24, the final day of his four day state visit to Vietnam.

Mr Chung told Prime Minister Lee that Hanoi looks forward to expanded cooperation with Singapore in a vast array of fields related to urban public sector management and personnel management.

Singapore Prime Minister Lee in turn expressed his delight at the sound development of relations between Singapore and the capital city of Hanoi saying he would like to see increased tourism links.

With more intensive business links and with more tourism between both sides, travel between Vietnam and Singapore has increased substantially, said Lee, noting he expects to see it to continue to blossom in the future.
