The Embassy of India in Vietnam also affirmed that, Prime Minister Phuc and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also have bilateral delegation level talks and India expect signing of important agreements to further strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries including in important areas such as cooperation in the peaceful uses of outer space and atomic energy.

In particular, India look forward to the signing of the Implementing Arrangement between the Indian Space Research Organisation and the National Remote Sensing Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam for the Establishment of Tracking and Data Reception Station and Data Processing Facility in Vietnam under the ASEAN-India Space Cooperation Programme.

Bilateral trade between the two countries, according to Indian data, has crossed the US$10 billion mark and both countries remain committed to work to achieve the target set by our leaders of US$15 billion by the year 2020.  Vietnam is the fourth largest trading partner of India among ASEAN countries and India is among the top ten trading partners of Vietnam.

It will provide an opportunity to the two leaders to review the entire gamut of bilateral relations and further lay out the roadmap for strengthening our Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
