Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev is on his two-day official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of his Vietnamese counterpat Nguyen Xuan Phuc. |

This is his fourth trip to Vietnam. He came to Vietnam for the first time in 2010 as the President of Russia, the second time in 2012 and the latest in 2015 as the Prime Minister of Russia. |

The visit takes place at a time when the two countries are enjoying the fine relations in all areas of cooperation, and celebrating the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on Fundamental Principles for Vietnam – Russia Friendship in 2019, and the 70th founding anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties in 2020. |

On the same day, Russian PM D. Medvedev will meet with National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong. |

During his official visit to Vietnam, the Russian PM will also visit and present the Russian State Award to the Vietnam - Russia Tropical Center. PM D. Medvedev will leave Vietnam, closing his official visit to Vietnam on the same day. |
