PM Phuc welcomes Formula One Group CEO

Phuc voiced his confidence that with the effective cooperation the Hanoi People’s Committee, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant agencies, the race will be held successfully in 2020 in conjunction with 70 years since the first race tournament was launched.
For his part, the Formula One leader showed his elation to attend the ceremony, and thanked municipal authorities for close cooperation with Formula One.
Vietnam has all conditions as Hanoi is seen as a dynamic city with a young population and sufficient infrastructure for the F1 race, he said, while hoping to receive fruitful cooperation from Vietnam for the organization of such an important sporting event.
Chase Carey also said that through this event, Vietnam will be more internationally known, noting that many partners of the Group have showed their interest in the race.
Agreeing with Chase Carey, PM Phuc affirmed the Vietnamese Government’s support and its willingness to facilitate the cooperation project between Formula One and Hanoi, thus showing Vietnam’s stature and capacity in holding other world-class sporting events in the time to come.
