Party leader honoured with 50-year Party membership badge

Tran Quoc Vuong, head of the CPV Central Committee’s Inspection Commission, on behalf of the Politburo and the Secretariat, presented the 50-year Party membership badge to General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong.

In his address at a badge presentation ceremony in Hanoi on January 29,Vuong extolled General Secretary Trong as a shining example for officials and Party members to follow.

The Party chief laid an emphasis on life-long learning, which he said, is a good way to become a helpful person, not for the purpose of getting higher positions.

He expressed his gratitude to the Party, State and people and pledged his absolutely loyal to the Party’s revolutionary ideology and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morals and lifestyle.

On this occasion, former Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, President Tran Dai Quang, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and other Party and State leade offered flowers congratulating General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on receiving the noble badge.
