During his tour of San Francisco, Huynh had a meeting with the city’s Mayor, met with representatives of the Vietnamese community in California and visited the Vietnamese Consulate General in the city.

At a meeting with US war veterans who once fought during the war in Vietnam, he briefed them on the country’s changes over the past 40 years as well as the dynamic and pragmatic development of the Vietnam-US comprehensive partnership.
