Politburo member suggests educating anti-corruption at school
- Anti-corruption committee asks for quickening case judgment
- Law-makers’ opinions differ on major issues in revised anti-corruption bill
At the working session, Mr. Vo Van Thuong highly appreciated the efforts of MOET and its Party Committee in leading, supervising and inspecting the work of anti-corruption at its under-ministerial agencies as well as all education and training institutions.
Mr. Vo Van Thuong asked the Party Committee and leaders of the MOET to continue to popularize the resolutions, conclusions, directives and regulations of the Party on anti-corruption.
The MOET should also consider including some anti-corruption contents into education programs at school. He suggested combining anti-corruption contents with political and ideological, morality education for students. At the same time, the Ministry should intensify inspection and collaborate with local authorities to check issues of public concern.
Mr. Vo Van Thuong also required that the MOET must simultaneously perform 2 key tasks of fighting corruption within the Ministry, and including anti-corruption contents into the school education program, which will hopefully be a "vaccine" to prevent corruption in the future.
