Politburo's inspection announces results of inspection of the Central Public Security Party Committee

PSNews - The Standing Board of the Central Party Committee of Public Security on January 14 held a conference to announce the report of Inspection Delegation No. 713 of the Politburo on the implementation of the Party Central Committee’s Resolution No.04 (Term 12th) on strengthening Party building and Directive No.5 of the Politburo on enhancing the movement "Learning and following Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, morality and lifestyle."


Mr. Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Head of its Organization Commission, Head of the Inspection Delegation chaired the event. Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Party Committee of Public Security, Minister of Public Security attended the event.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hiep, member of the Central Inspection Committee, Deputy Head of the Inspection Delegation reported the delegates on the inspection results of the Standing Board of the Central Party Committee of Public Security.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the achievements of the Standing Board of the Central Party Committee of Public Security over the time in implementing Resolutions No.4 of the 12th Party Central Committee and the Directive No.5 of the Politburo.

The forces have actively grasped and produced precise forecasts on the situation, ensured security and order for people, well performed its functions and tasks assigned by the Party and the State; and gave good advice to the Politburo on many guidelines and policies, including the institutionalization of Resolution No.4 and the amendment and supplement of the Public Security Law.

Mr. Pham Minh Chinh hoped that the Standing Board of the Central Party Committee of Public Security would continue to well carry out the political tasks and maintain national security and order while overcoming its limitations in performing tasks and strengthening the corps of its officers, excellently fulfilling all assigned tasks. He also said that the inspection delegation will review and summarise all opinions, ideas, proposals and recommendations of the Standing Board of the Central Party Committee of Public Security.

On behalf of the Standing Board of the Central Party Committee of Public Security, Minister To Lam extended thanks to the Inspection Delegation for their valuable and frank appraisals, especially remarks of Mr. Pham Minh Chinh, and affirmed that the Central Party Committee of Public Security will review and learn from the report.

Minister To Lam also hoped that the Inspection Delegation would continue to detect limitations of the Public Security Forces so that the Central Party Committee of the Party could correct the problems on time so as to build regular, elite and modern public security forces.
