Russian warship pays friendly visit to Vietnam

PSNews –A naval ship of the Pacific Fleet of the Navy of the Russian Federation on April 27 arrived in Cam Ranh international port (Khanh Hoa province) starting a 5-day visit to Vietnam.

There are 642 officers and crewmen onboard, led by Lt. Col. Ulyanenko Alexey.
During the visit to Vietnam, the ship’s chain of command will pay courtesy calls to the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, the 4th Naval Regional Command; lay wreaths at the monument of military men of the former Soviet Union, the Russian Federation and Vietnam who sacrificed their lives for regional peace and stability; and play sports with Vietnamese troops.
Before visiting Vietnam, the Pacific Fleet’s warship had also docked at Busan port, South Korea and Manila, Philippines.
The visit of the Russian naval ship aims to strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnership, including defense and navy cooperation, between Vietnam and Russian Federation.
