Special Art Program marks the establishment of Vietnam People's Army

PSNews - An art program was held on December 19 at the Army Theatre, Hanoi by the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) in collaboration with the Department of Party and Political Work of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) to celebrate the 74th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army and the 29th anniversary of the All People's Defense Festival.

The program was broadcast live on the People's Public Security Television Channel (ANTV) and the Viet Nam National Defense Television Channel (QPVN).

The art program saw the presence of Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Lieutenant General Le Hien Van, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the VPA; Major General Dao Gia Bao, Director of the Department of Party and Political Work of the MPS; Major General Nguyen Van Duc, Head of the Department of Information and Education under the General Department of Politics of the VPA.

The art program, which gathered a large number of famous artists and singers from the MPS and the VPA created an opportunity for the artists of the two forces to exchange their experience and perform together the works about the armed forces that had won high prizes at national-level professional art festivals.

The program was organized into 3 parts with art performances: praising the Party, Uncle Ho, featuring the heroic traditions of the VPA and the MPS, and reflecting the people’s love for the Fatherland. The program also recalled the 74-year-history of building, war-fighting and development of the VPA with glorious victories.

The program also presented the will, the belief, the pride and the “unity and resolve to win over enemy” power of all officers and soldiers of the military and public security forces under the leadership of the Party and great Uncle Ho in the cause of protecting the Fatherland.
