The State President and the high-ranking officers of HCMC Municipal Police

The State President spoke highly of the achievements obtained by the city’s police force, and stressed that it is high time for the police force to take drastic measures in investigating and dealing with corruption cases, regardless of possible influence of any individual or organization on the cases.

Particularly in major economic cases, prosecuting and law enforcement agencies should take measures to quickly distrain  upon the persons concerned, denying them dispersing and hiding illegal property.

The municipal police force should join efforts of the whole political system in preventing and combating crimes in order to ensure local security and social order. The city’s police should also give priority to the work of building a transparent and “clean” force, to fulfill all assigned tasks and minimize wrongful cases.
