State President stressed importance of Party building work

The event was attended and chaired by State President Tran Dai Quang, and Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Minister of Public Security.

Other leaders and representatives of relevant agencies and departments also attended the conference.

Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security briefed participants of the conference on the outcomes of Party building, supervision and inspection in 2016 across the public security forces as well as orientation for action plans in 2017.

Addressing the event, State President Tran Dai Quang stressed the importance of Party building work, urging the public security forces to continue to pay attention to promoting political education and political stance for public security officers and soldiers amid unpredictable and complicated situations in the world, proactively and effectively prevent and fight any degradations of politics, ideology and moral quality as well as signs of “self-transformation” and “self-evolution” within the forces.

Delegates at the conference put forward and discussed various proposals to improve quality and effectiveness of Party building work as well as Party supervision and inspection across the Party organization of the public security forces in the time to come.

Delivering the concluding speech, Minister To Lam recognized and spoke highly of all fine outcomes gained in the work of Party building, supervision and inspection in 2016.
