US warships dock at Vietnam’s port

PSNews - Two US naval vessels, namely USS Coronado (LCS-4) and USNS Salvor (T-ARS-52), with 120 officers and soldiers arrived at Cam Ranh port on July 5, starting a 4-day-visit to Khanh Hoa province.

According to Director of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Quoc Tram, the visit is part of the 8th Naval Engagement Activity (NEA) between Vietnam and the US to exchange skills in military medicine, search and rescue, as well as views on maritime security and maritime law.
NEA operations are being carried out annually to deepen the relationship between the US Navy and the Vietnam People’s Navy.
