Vietnam aspires to promote traditional friendship with China

Vietnam greatly respects its relations with China and truly wishes to promote traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership with China for mutual benefit.

Trong said Vietnam hopes that both sides will work closely to realize joint perceptions and agreements by the two countries’ leaders. 

The Party leader reiterated that both sides need more active preparations to ensure the success of General Secretary and President Xi Jinping’s high-level visit to Vietnam and his participation in the upcoming the APEC Economic Leaders' Week.

Special envoy Song Tao, in turn, said his nation and General Secretary Xi Jinping treasure the friendship and cooperation with Vietnam, calling for more strategic exchanges and strengthened political trust to further boost stable and in-depth bilateral relations.

The same day, special envoy Song Tao was received by Hoang Binh Quan, Head of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee’s External Affairs Commission, and Tran Quoc Vuong, Head of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee’s Inspection Commission.
