Vietnamese leaders congratulate US president-elect Joe Biden

PSNews - Secretary General of the Communist Party of Vietnam and State President Nguyen Phu Trong and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent congratulatory messages to Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. on his election as President of the US, on December 1.

Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc extended congratulations to Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. who won the US presidential election. 

In their congratulatory messages, the Vietnamese leaders expressed their belief that the comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and the US, built over the past 25 years, will continue to grow in a result-oriented, effective and sustainable manner, in the interest of the two countries’ people and for peace, security, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

The same day, Vice State President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh also sent congratulations to Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.

On this occasion, the Vietnamese leaders invited the US President and Vice President elect to visit Vietnam at an early date.
