19-8 Hospital awarded First-class Fatherland Protection Order

The General Department of Logistics and Techniques of the Ministry of Public Security celebrated their 50th Tradition Day and received First-class Fatherland Protection Orders presented by the State President on September 14.

The ceremony was attended by Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security; Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Khanh Toan, Senior Lieutenant General Dang Van Hieu, former member of the Central Party Committee, former Deputy Minister of Public Security; leaders of departments, central agencies and representatives from units of the Ministry of Public Security. 

Lieutenant General Le Van Minh, General Director of the General Department of Logistics and Techniques chaired the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Lt. Gen. Le Van Minh has announced the letter of Congratulation of the State President.

Addressing the ceremony,Senior Lieutenant General To Lam praised the contributions and achievements of Hospital 19-8 in the last 55 years.

The 19-8 Hospital was founded by the merger of The 265 Hospital under the Department of Logistics and the 367 Hospital under the Department of Finance and Materials of the Ministry of Public Security.

55 years of development, generations of doctors, officers and related staffers has brought the 19-8 Hospital into the first class hospital under the Ministry of Public Security with 600 beds with 39 departments and divisions.
