The Youth Union Chapter of the Department of Cyber Security under the Ministry of Public Security in collaboration with the Public Security University of Techniques and Logistics held the 1st cyber security contest 2017 on April 12.

This contest represented one of the activities of the Department of Cyber Security's young officers and soldiers to celebrate big upcoming national events and the 3rd founding anniversary of the cyber security force. (2-6-2014/ 2-6-2017).

The participating teams competed with each other in dealing with assumed scenarios designed by the organizing board.

To solve the scenarios, which were based on the real situations, required the participating teams to be excellent at teamwork, IT and cyber knowledge and computer skills. Meanwhile, the contest provided good opportunities for police cadets and young officers to broaden their knowledge, improve skills as well as share experiences.

After 4 hours of intense and aggressive competition, the 4 participating teams exerted all-out efforts to show off their skills and successfully completed the exams.

Although organizing this contest for the first time, the success was considered a foundation for the following large-scale competitions between more units of the public security forces.
