The ceremony was attended by Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Minister of Public Security; Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security; leaders and representatives from General Departments and High Commands of the Ministry of Public Security; and representatives of central and local organizations of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

The "Typical Public Security Youth "as an annual award of the Ministry of Public Security, aims to honor public security youths with outstanding achievements in the fields of work, combat, learning, scientific research, culture and sports.

The annual awarding event shows the Ministry of Public Security’s caring for its young generation, and serves as a source of encouragement for public security youths to continue strive to well complete assigned tasks.

The "Typical Public Security Youth "as an annual award of the Ministry of Public Security, aims to honor public security youths with outstanding achievements in the fields of work, combat, learning, scientific research, culture and sports.

The 20 excellent public security officers have been also entitled as "Emulation Fighter" for years, and received many noble awards from the State, Government, Ministry of the Public Security and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister To Lam stressed that the Party and State always trust the young generation, who will become the masters of the country and creative forces in building and defending the motherland.
