200 officers of Security Guard Command join blood donation day

The High Command of Security Guard under the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Center for Blood Donation of Ho Chi Minh City to organize a blood donation day on August 10.

This activity responded to the calls of Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong, General To Lam, Minister of Public Security for blood donation on the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of the Public Security Forces, 15th “All People Protecting National Security” Festive Day and to welcome the Congress of the Party organization of the security guard force for the term of 2020-2025, said Senior Colonel Pham Van Hung, Deputy Commander of the High Command of Security Guard.

Some 200 officers and soldiers participated in the blood donation day.

The donated blood has contributed to easing the shortage of blood for treatment of patients at local hospitals during the hard times of COVID-19.
