39 artifacts donated to Police of Can Tho, Yen Bai and Hanoi Museum

PSNews-The History Institute of Public Security Forces hosted a ceremony, on July 24, at the People’s Public Security Museum, to present various artifacts to the Hanoi Museum and Police Departments of Can Tho and Yen Bai.

The donation of the artifacts was conducted at the request of the family of Senior Colonel, Hero of the People’s Armed Forces Dao Dinh Bang and other involved units.

The organizers handed 30 artifacts related to Senior Colonel, Hero of the People’s Armed Forces Dao Dinh Bang, including guns, typewriters equipped by the Ministry of Public Security to senior police officer Bang during his time as Head of the Yen Bai Provincial Police Department (from 1958 to 1974) as well as many decisions, letters, reports, certificates and other items. 4 other artifacts were donated to the Can Tho Municipal Police, including a short-sleeved shirt, white trousers, hat and rubber sandal used by officers of the Public Security Forces during the resistance war against French colonists.

5 artifacts given to the Hanoi Museum included an important official document of the Hanoi Resistance Committee, Special Report 359 VP/KCHC of the Hanoi Resistance Committee, a decision of the Hanoi Resistance Committee and a swimming certificate.

Senior Colonel Nguyen Xuan Ngoc, Deputy Head of the History Institute of Public Security Forces, also presented units the historical book about martyrs and wounded soldiers of the People's Public Security Forces, a special book published by the Institute recently.
