“All people protecting national security” movement be pervaded
PSNews – Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security and Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security had a working session with the Department for “All People Security Protection Movement” on January 3rd afternoon, in Hanoi.

At the meeting, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Khao, Director of the Department for All-People Security Protection Movement briefed the two leaders of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on the department’s key missions, saying that in 2016, leaders, officers and soldiers of the department successfully fulfilled all assigned tasks.

The department focused on implementing its political mission and gave advice to the Central Public Security Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security on renovating the “All people protecting national security” movement in accordance with current practice; and issued and compiled many important documents relating to the movement.
Reports of the department read that public security units at all levels promoted their core roles, actively cooperated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front and other departments, branches and organizations to carry out the "All-People Protecting National Security" movement at all levels, contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam and Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son recognized and highly valued the achievements of the Department for All People Security Protection Movement in all aspects.

They underscored that, in the coming time, the Department for All-People Security Protection Movement should well comprehend that protecting national security and maintaining social order and safety will be more successful when the missions are closely connected to the promotion of the movement.
