Archbishop of Hanoi visits Ministry of Public Security ahead Lunar New Year
Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security, on January 10 received Archbishop Vu Van Thien of the Hanoi Archdiocese, who visited and extended wishes to the Public Security Forces on the occasion of the Traditional New Year festival.

On behalf of the Ministry’s leadership, Deputy Minister Quang thanked the Archbishop and the Catholics of the Hanoi Diocese for their good sentiment for the Public Security Forces.
Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang hoped dignitaries of the Hanoi Archdiocese would continue to encourage local Catholics to join the nation to successfully implement the Party's guidelines and policies, laws of the State. He also hoped that local Catholics will actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, making practical contributions to the cause of building the great national unity bloc and promoting national socio-economic development.
Archbishop Vu Van Thien wished leaders of the MPS and all public security officers and soldiers good health and successes in performing their tasks. He also thanked the Public Security Forces for ensuring security and order as well as a peaceful and happy life for the people, particularly the Catholics in the Hanoi Archdiocese during the recent Christmas.
