Artists with contributions to art programs celebrating 75th founding anniversary of PSF honored

Earlier, on the occasion of the 75 th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Forces (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2020) and the 15th “All People Protecting National Security” Festive Day (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2020), the MPS coordinated with relevant units to organize the two art programs named “The 75-year glorious history of the People's Public Security Forces” and “75 glorious years of the Vietnam People's Public Security Forces” at the National Convention Center.

In recognizing the artists’ contributions to the art programs, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh awarded the “National Security Protection” Medal to Assoc.Prof., Dr., Musician Do Hong Quan, President of the Vietnam Musicians’ Association as well as Certificates of Merit from the MPS to six outstanding teams and 39 artists at the meeting.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh thanked leaders of the relevant units, artists and actors for their contributions to the success of the art programs in celebration of the 75th founding anniversary of the Public Security Forces and 15th “All People Protecting National Security” Festive Day.

He hoped that culture and art management agencies and art troupes as well as writers, artists, and actors across the country will continue supporting the MPS in the time to come.
Minister To Lam also spoke highly of the contributions of leaders of art units and artists to the art programs. The Minister affirmed that the MPS always wants to promote collaboration with art units and artists.
He also hoped that artists would create more literary and artistic works depicting the image of the public security officers and soldiers on duty.
