Bac Giang traffic police launch intensive drugs check on drivers

PSNews – The Bac Giang Provincial Police’s Traffic Police Division on February 11 launch a peak campaign to check and detect drivers of passenger cars with 8 seats and above who use drugs.

The campaign, according to the Bac Giang Traffic Police force, runs until February 20 (16 January in Lunar calendar). On February 11’s morning, the force checked nearly 20 drivers but none of them was found to have used drugs.
The activity is part of the local traffic police’s program in response to a nationwide campaign launched by the Traffic Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security to detect drivers of trucks and coaches with eight seats and above during the Lunar New Year Festival, who are drinking and driving or addicted to drugs.
Earlier, the Bac Giang Provincial Police’s Traffic Police Division had also launched 2 similar campaigns to strictly handle drivers with wrongdoings.
