Bac Kan's police officers help local people to harvest rice

The working team under the Bac Can Provincial Public Security Department on October 11-12 helped local people to harvest more than 2 tons of rice.

Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Deputy Director of the Bac Can Provincial Public Security Department was also in the field to check the situation and to help local villagers.

On October 11 and 12, the working group has helped villagers of Dong Luong village to collect nearly 2 tons of rice.

The majority of young men in the village is now working away, police officers has replaced their positions to help relatives do the farm work.

Major Colonel Hung The Hoang, Deputy Chief of the Cho Moi district’s Police said, this is a regular activity of the police force to strengthen relationship between the local people and police forces, especially in the time of rice harvest season.
