Brave girl to be valedictorian of People’s Police College

Luong Thi Hoai Thuong (class B2C1-H01S, specialized in administrative management of social order, the People's Police College I), is known for her famous flying postures. She is awarded as People’s Police College outstanding student with the average grade of 9.1, being promoted from rank Sergeant Major to Junior Lieutenant. 3 years ago, she also won the first rank in university entrance examination with 27 points (group A).

Valedictorian title was a motivation yet pressure for Thuong to study and practice harder. Besides school time, she frequently spent time  in the library for self-study. Thuong said, since a child, she has admired the courage  of police portrayed on newspapers, movies. She was determined to put on the blue uniform so 3 years ago she only applied to the People's Police Academy. However, 27 points wasn't enough to attend the academy, she decided to join the People’s Police College I instead.

As deputy secretary of Class Youth Union, Hoai Thuong regularly engaged in the youth movement, union association. Within busy schedule, she always tried to manage both her study and other activities.

Thuong’s effort and determination impressed her classmates. Vu Thi Hanh said, they all wondered where could Thuong get the health and energy to participate enthusiastically in school activities yet still remain high academic achievements. 

"I also attended Vovinam class every night. Sometimes the practice lasted till 10 pm, my body get so tired and even started aching because of injury. I came back home when others already slept and I started completing my individual activities and homework to prepare for the next day ", Thuong said.

Hoang Ngoc Huan - Secretary of People’s Police College I Youth Union affirmed Hoai Thuong always be the first name you think of when seeking for outstanding models of youth work.

"She's very versatile who is not only good at study but also excellent at sports, arts, martial arts. She has achieved silver medal in badminton at Northern People's Police Schools sport festival. She was also college’s representative at People’s police schools martial arts festival, "said Hoang Ngoc Huan.

8 times received certificates of merit by the Rector of the People's Police College I, Thuong also received the merit of the Minister of Public Security; honored by the General Political Department- Ministry of Public Security; received outstanding youth models award of General Political Department 2015 ...

"The more living in this environment, the more I feel myself suitable with the police uniform. I look forward to contribuing to the development and safety of our motherland, to help and to protect my family, my country", said Hoai Thuong.
