CAND Newspaper and Motorola support needy policemen in Yen Bai

PSNews - Charity working mission of the Public Security Newspaper (CAND Newspaper) and Motorola Solutions Company led by Colonel Nguyen Thuy Quynh, the Public Security Newspaper's Deputy Editor in Chief on August 29th presented 68 million VND to support policemen with economic difficulties in Tram Tau and Mu Cang Chai districts.

Sergeant Thao A Giao is from a poor village called Hang Tay of Pa Lau commune, Tram Tau district. After graduating from the Public Security School, Giao was posted to the Tram Tau District Police. He is viewed by his colleagues and leaders as a brave, enthusiastic and wise policeman who has attained many great achievements in the combat against drug trafficking and smuggling in the locality.

However, Thao A Giang’s family is in a very difficult state. They are currently living in a dilapidated house on the hillside at a high risk of landslide. Knowing the situation of Sergeant Giao, the Motorola Solutions Charity Fund and CAND Newspaper offered 50 million VND to Giao's family to build a new home.

Within the framework of the charity trip, the mission also handed over 18 million VND to 5 police officers at the Mu Cang Chai District Police, who have their houses swept away in the horrible floods that occurred on August 3. The recipients included Lieutenant Colonel Giang A Pao, Lieutenant Colonel Sung A Cua, Lieutenant Giang A Phong, Lieutenant Sung A Mang and Sergeant Giang A Venh.

On behalf of the Party Committee, the Board of Director and officers and soldiers of the Yen Bai Provincial Police, Senior Colonel Nguyen Huu Bien, Deputy Director of the Yen Bai Provincial Police extended his sincere thanks to the CAND Newspapers and Motorola Solutions Company as well as the working mission for their noble deeds toward the police officers in the 2 districts.

Senior Colonel Bien said, that was a great encouragement for officers and soldiers of the Tram Tau and Mu Cang Chai District Police Offices, helping them overcome obstacles and soon stabilize their lives and continue to accomplish their assigned tasks.
