CAND Newspaper brings early Tet to Binh Sa people

Lieutenant General Chau Van Man and representatives of the CAND Newspaper and donors handed 137 packs of gifts worth 300,000 VND each and some necessaries worth 250,000 VND to local residents.
The charitable mission also presented some warm clothes and sweets with a total value of 20 million VND to pupils of Binh Sa kindergarten.
The charitable mission felt their empathy for the locals who has suffered many losses and were facing numerous difficulties after the recent flooding, and hoped that these gifts would help local households to have a warmer Tet.
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hieu (aged 79), one of the local residents, said that, after her husband has passed away and her only daughter has gotten married, she has to live alone in a small house in Chau Khe village with many difficulties. She was very happy to receive the gifts as well as the supports from Lieutenant General Chau Van Man and kind donors.
On behalf of the local authorities and residents, Mr. Ha Nhu Dieu, Vice Chairman of the Binh Sa commune People’s Committee extended his warmest thanks to the charitable mission and donors for their supports for needy local people.
