CAND Newspaper brings early Tet to people in Quang Nam

PSNews - The Public Security Newspaper (CAND Newspaper) has handed over meaningful Tet gifts to needy households, families of Agent Orange/Dioxin victims and unfortunate woman in Quang Nam province.

As part of the ongoing program "Tet for the poor 2018" in the central provinces, on January 30, at the hall of Tan Thanh ward, Tam Ky city, the charitable mission of the representative office of the CAND Newspaper in central Vietnam in collaboration with Carlsberg Vietnam and the Quang Nam Provincial Police Department presented 180 packs of Tet gifts to needy people and unfortunate woman residing in 3 wards of Tam Ky city namely Tan Thanh, An Phu and Tam Phu.

These were the first batch of the 7,000 gifts (worth 400,000 VND each) that Carlsberg Vietnam has planned  to offer to needy people in 7 provinces and cities in the central region of Vietnam through the program "Tet for the poor" of the CAND Newspaper. These provinces include Quang Nam, Da Nang, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Tri, Quang Binh, Ha Tinh va Nghe An.

On January 30 and 31, 1,200 packs of Tet gifts were handed to needy households, families of Agent Orange/Dioxin victims and unfortunate woman in Quang Nam province.
