CAND Newspaper runs pilot online Chinese edition

PSNews - Under the direction of Minister of Public Security To Lam and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Public Security (CAND) Online Newspaper of the CAND Newspaper launched the trial Chinese edition at http:/cn.cand.com.vn

The online Chinese edition of the CAND Online Newspaper is responsible for conveying accurate, and reliable information on time to Chinese-speaking communities around the world about the guidelines, policies of the Party, State and the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam as well as prominent political, economic, social cultural and sports events and issues in the country. 

The online Chinese edition will focus on covering activities of the public security forces, as well as the combat against crime and the movement "All people protecting national security", and promoting foreign relations, international  integration and cooperation in the digital age.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Major General Pham Van Mien, Editor-in-Chief of the CAND Newspaper hailed the efforts of the officials and soldiers in building and running the trial online Chinese edition of the CAND Newspaper.

The Editor-in-Chief urged the leaders and editors of the CAND Online Newspaper to run the online edition following the principles, missions and purposes of the CAND Newspaper, and update news and information in a timely manner under the motto "Humanity - Reliability - Timeliness."

Major General Pham Van Mien also stressed that the Chinese edition of the CAND Newspaper should focus on political issues, activities of the Public Security Forces, foreign affairs, dissemination of information relating to national sea and islands protection, the fight against wrong political views of hostile forces and promoting the image of a renovated Vietnam with friendly and hospitable people to international friends.

In the coming time, the leaders and editors of the Chinese edition should work closely with relevant units, receive feedbacks from the readers, step by step upgrade its organization and improve its human resources and facilities, prepare necessaries conditions before submitting to the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and competent agencies of the Ministry of Information and Communications to soon launch an official online Chinese edition of the CAND Newspaper.

At the moment, the online Chinese edition of the CAND Newspaper consists of six columns, namely Politics, Public Security Forces, Society - Economy, Culture- Sports- Tourism, and World.

With the inception of the online Chinese edition, the CAND Online Newspaper now has another useful information channel together with the Vietnamese and English editions to reach domestic and international readers, and serves as a bridge between the Public Security Forces and Chinese speaking people around the world.
