The Can Tho Municipal Police’s Mobile Police Division on June 29 held a ceremony to hand over a comradeship house to Mr. Vo Van Le, a veteran at Tan Long commune, Phung Hiep district, Hau Giang province. Le and his family has been facing many difficulties for years.
To support Le's family to overcome the housing difficulty and gradually stabilize their lives, the youth union and women union chapters of the Can Tho Municipal Police’s Mobile Police Division decided to to support Le to build a new house.
The house, covering an area of 80m2, was then rebuilt with 50 million VND supported by the police officers.
At the handover ceremony, the Le’s family expressed happiness while receiving their new house. They thanked the Can Tho Municipal Police and the youth union and women union chapters of the Mobile Police Division for the great care, saying the house will help them stabilize their lives.
The meaningful activity expressed the spirit of mutual support of the public security forces for disadvantaged people.
