Central Party Committee of Public Security rolls out the 12th Party Central Committee’s Resolutions 4

PSNews - Central Party Committee of Public Security held the conference in Hanoi on December 9th in Hanoi to implement the Central Resolutions No. 4 (Term 12th). Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, member of Politburo, Public Security Central Party Committee Secretary chaired the event. 

The conference aims to study and roll out the 12th Party Central Committee’s Resolution No.4  on ‘Strengthening Party building and rectification; preventing and pushing back the degradation in political ideology, morality, lifestyle and the expression of "self-evolution" and “self-transformation” within the Party.” The conference also reviewed and evaluated the results of the task implementation of the Central Public Security Party organization in 2016, and craft orientations for 2017 and the following years.

Present at the conference were members of the Standing sub-Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Tran Dai Quang, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc; other members of Central Public Security Party Committee, Ministry of Public Security leaders, Public Security General Departments, High Commands and under-ministerial agencies and units.

At the conference, the delegates have clarified the outstanding results of the Public Security Forces in 2016, as well as their difficulties and limitations; discussed objectives, missions and solutions to better performing public security missions in 2017 and the following years. They also outlined an Action Plan of the Central Public Security Party Committee to execute the 12th Party Central Committee’s Resolution No.4.

In their remarks, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Tran Dai Quang, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phung stated:

In 2016, the Public Security Forces have achieved fruitful results in all respects of work, and reached all the set targets. Particularly, the Public Security Forces always grasped the situations, provided timely good advice for the State and Government to draw up correct directions and policies on national security and social order and safety, denying any activities of terrorism or sabotage; ensured absolute safety for national security projects and targets and important political, cultural, social events; and controlled crime.

The work of criminal verdict enforcement and detention saw positive developments while the “All people protecting national security’’ movement gained important outcomes. The work of Party building and logistics and techniques in the Public Security Forces also received due attention and care from the Central Public Security Party Committee.

The abovementioned achievements have contributed to maintaining political stability, national security and social order, facilitating national socio-economic development and international integration while the country still faces numerous challenges.

To conclude the conference, Minister To Lam extended his sincere thanks to the participating Party, State and Government leaders, and promised to seriously grasp and realize the ideas and instructions of Party, State and Government leaders, especially those of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Tran Dai Quang, and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc in leading and directing public security missions.

Regarding the implementation of  Resolution 4 in the Public Security Forces, the Central Public Security Party Committee has emphasized it as a crucial resolution, which the Party Central Committee has showed a high sense of resolve and unity to successfully deploy across the political system with the participation of all Central agencies, branches, localities, Party organizations and people in an effort to bring it into life and create profound positive changes in the Party. 

On the basis of the resolution, the Public Security Party organization will continue building the public security forces stronger and cleaner, contributing to national construction and protection.
