Charmvit Group supports needy Vietnamese public security officers

The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) in collaboration with Charmvit Group (Republic of Korea - RoK) on December 11 held a ceremony in Hanoi to award Charmvit scholarships to children of wounded officers and martyrs of the Vietnamese People's Public Security and poor students with excellent achievements in study.

The ceremony saw the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, Mr. Lee Dae Bong, Chairman of Charmvit Group, and representatives of the RoK Embassy in Vietnam and the RoK’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Mr. Lee Dae Bong award VND one billion to the scholarship fund of the MPS.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh affirmed that the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security appreciated the fruitful results of cooperation with relevant Korean agencies, including Charmvit Group.

The Deputy Minister highly appreciated the goodwill of President Lee Dae Bong and Charmvit Group for awarding scholarships to children of wounded officers, martyrs of the Vietnamese People’s Public Security Forces and poor students with high school records.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh affirmed that the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam will create a favorable environment for foreign corporations and businesses, including those of RoK, to invest in Vietnam.

He also wished the cooperation between the two countries in general and between then Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and the Korean partners will further develop in the coming time.

Chairman Lee Dae Bong vowed to support the sustainable and practical cooperation between Vietnam and RoK and the cooperation between Vietnam Ministry of Public Security and other RoK partners.

At the ceremony, Mr. Lee Dae Bong awarded VND one billion of scholarships to MPS’s representatives so that the MPS will present the scholarships to the beneficiaries.

The Korean group has provided scholarships to children of public security officers since 2007. The program aimed at promoting the multifaceted cooperation between the two countries as well as between Charmvit Group and the Vietnamese ministry.
