Colonel Nguyen Thuy Quynh appointed as Public Security Newspaper’s Deputy Editor in Chief

PSNews – Authorized by the Ministry of Public Security, the General Department of Politics on June 21 held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security to appoint Colonel Nguyen Thuy Quynh to Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Public Security Newspaper.

Major General Mai Van Ha, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics chaired the ceremony.

Colonel Nguyen Thuy Quynh (46) is the first female who has become a member of the Editorial Board of Vietnam’s biggest Public Security Forces’ media agency in its 71-year history.

The newly appointed Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Public Security Newspaper was born in Nam Truc district, Nam Dinh province. Prior to the appointment, Colonel Nguyen Thuy Quynh was a member of the Party Committee and Head of the Management Office of the Public Security Newspaper.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Mai Van Ha affirmed that the Public Security Newspaper is a major newspaper of the public security forces as well as the Vietnam Revolutionary Press.

He expressed his belief that Colonel Nguyen Thuy Quynh will continue improving her moral professional qualities and expertise in all aspects, and join the newspaper’s Party Committee and Editorial Board for further development of the newspaper.

On behalf of the Party Committee and Editorial Board of the Public Security Newspaper, Major General Pham Van Mien thanked the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and leaders of the General Department of Politics for the appointment, responding to demands of the unit for good personnel and profession on time while appointing Colonel Nguyen Thuy Quynh to the Deputy Editor in Chief.

Major General Pham Van Mien said that the Party Committee and Editorial Board of the Public Security Newspaper will soon organize a meeting to assign new tasks to Colonel Nguyen Thuy Quynh.

On the occasion of the 92th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, on behalf of the leadership of the General Department of Politics, Major General Mai Van Ha also congratulated reporters, editors and leadership of the Public Security Newspaper.
