“Comradeship” house handed over to poor policeman in An Giang

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security leading a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security attended a ceremony to hand over a "Comradeship” house" to Lieutenant La Van Vo, an officer at the Mobile Police Division under the An Giang Provincial Police Department.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security, and a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security attended a ceremony to hand over a "Comradeship” house" to Lieutenant La Van Vo, an officer at the Mobile Police Division under the An Giang Provincial Police Department.

The house covers an area of 90 sqm and totally costs 350 million VND in total, which has been donated by youths of Emulation Grouping No. 9 under the Ministry of Public Security and the Directorate of the An Giang Provincial Police Department along with other sponsors.

At the ceremony,Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh also presented gifts to Lieutenant La Van Vo and his family. The Deputy Minister asked Vo to continue to overcome difficulties and stabilize his life in the coming time.

On this occasion, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh also visited former leaders of the provincial authorities, former directors of the provincial police department, and retired bishops of Long Xuyen diocese in An Giang province.
