Conference on strengthening Public Security Forces Trade Union organizations held in Hanoi

Major General Nguyen Duc Minh, Deputy Director of the Department of Party and Political Work under the MPS, Deputy Head of the Public Security Steering Committee on Organization and Operation of Social and Political mass Organizations in the Public Security Forces, chaired the event.
The conference discussed theoretical and practical knowledge on drafting and promulgating regulations on the organization and operation of the Public Security Trade Union, contributing to completing the project on organization and operation of Public Security social and political mass organization.
Delegates pointed out that rapid and unpredictable changes in the political, economic, social situations in Vietnam and worldwide, along with the effect of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, require the Public Security Forces to attach more importance to ensuring security and order as well as Party building and force building.
Building strong Public Security Trade Union organizations is an urgent task, which requires the Party committees and chains-of-command of all public security agencies and units to join effort. Additionally, officers in charge of trade union work should heighten their sense of responsibility for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of their Trade Union organization.
