Contest launched to select Public Security Forces’ “Ambassador of reading culture”

PSNews – The 2020 “Ambassadors of Reading Culture” contest hosted by the Ministry of Public Security was launched to celebrate the 75th Traditional Day of the Public Security Forces, and 15 years of the National Festival “All-People Protect the National Security.”

- Public security students present books, scholarships and clothes to poor students in Dien Bien
The contest is open to all students from public security academies and schools.
Contestants can choose one of the following four topics: their favorite book, a book that has changed their thinking, the effective reading methods, or a solution to encourage people to read more books.
The contest’s prizes include 5 A prizes, 10 B prizes, 15 C prizes, 20 Consolation prizes and many other auxiliary prizes.
In addition to cash, excellent participating organizations and individuals will also be awarded Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Public Security, and from the Director of the Department of Party and Political Work.
The award ceremony sets to take place in August.
The contest has so far received 14.700 entries from students of public security academies and schools.
