DIT asked to strengthen IT management in Public Security Forces

According to reports from the DIT, over the past time, the department has advised the ministry’s leaders on solutions to improve the technical infrastructure of public security agencies and units while appraising the projects on the national population database and chip-based ID cards.
It also supported communal-level police posts to connect their computer networks with the National Population Data Center and proposed solutions to ensure security and safety for the national population database and e-ID card system.

Additionally, the DIT also deployed security control systems that effectively support chains of command of public security agencies and units in directing the maintenance of security and order for major events of the country, including the 13th National Party Congress and the election of the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi asked the DIT to continue following the directives, resolutions, guidelines and orders of the Party, State, and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security while advising its upper levels to further improve the quality and efficiency of IT management in the Public Security Forces. The department should also review and complete legal documents to ensure efficient management of IT in the Public Security Forces in accordance with the laws.
