Da Nang Police awards excellent examples in 2018

At the event, 2 organizations and 3 individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement in the period of 2016-2020 received Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Public Security.

6 organizations and individuals were awarded the Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of the Da Nang Municipal People's Committee for their contributions to ensuring security and order and recovering land for socio-economic development in Hoa Xuan (Cam Le District) in November 2018.

Director of the Da Nang Municipal Police Department also awarded Certificates of Merit to a number of organizations and individuals working in the police unit in Ngu Hanh Son, Hai Chau and Thanh Khe Districts for their outstanding achievements in fighting and preventing crime, and ensuring local security.

In recent times, the rewarded police units have cracked down on a number of drug-related and criminal cases, including cases of usury and black credit, intentional injury and robbery related to high-value assets.

Local district police force also coordinated with relevant functional units under the Da Nang Municipal Police Departments to stop many illegal acts of foreign residents or tourists in Da Nang, including trade fraud, illegal online gambling, to name but a few.
