Da Nang strengthens residence management

In 2017, Da Nang city will welcome big political events and important festivals. Therefore, the city must underscore its residence management so as to contribute to ensuring absolute safety for the political events and festivals.

With the participation of leaders of 21 member economies and thousands of official delegates, foreign journalists, representatives of world's leading businesses in events of the APEC Leaders' Week, the public security force of Da Nang proposed detailed residence management plans to leaders of the city.

My An ward of Son Tra district has a large number of hotels, motels and other kinds of rented accommodations.

Local police worked with owners of rented accommodations of all kinds in the ward; as a result, they have all committed themselves to strictly complying with the residence regulations and frequently report the police on residence situations and information about their residentsvia the online resident management system.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Viet Hung, Head of the My An Ward Police said that local police focus on popularizing residence management regulations to each rented facility in the ward. 

In the time ahead, local public security force will intensify inspection and take serious actions against violations of residence management regulations.

In addition, local police also scrutinize fire prevention and fighting systems of rented accomodations of all kind in the locality. 

Leaders of the Da Nang Municipal Police vowed to closely work with their affiliated agencies and units to ensure absolute safety for domestic and foreign visitors in Da Nang, contributing to building Da Nang city as a peaceful and friendly place.
