Dak Lak’s reputable persons greatly contribute to “All people protecting National security” movement

PSNews – The Ministry of Public Security on August 4 held a meeting with 22 delegates, representing 1.700 reputable persons of the Dak Lak province.

Authorized by Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Politburo’s member, Minister of Public Security, Lieutenant General Vi Van Long, Deputy Director of the General Department of Security chaired the meeting.

Dak Lak’s reputable persons greatly contribute to “All people protecting National security” movement.

Dak Lak Province has a strategically important position on national defense and security. Over the past time, reputable persons from Dak Lak province have taken the lead in the “All people protecting National security” movement and fight against plots and activities of the hostile forces.

Dak Lak province’s reputable persons also actively participated in the prevention and fight against drug crime, and resolve many complicated conflicts in the area while contributing to continuously improving material and spiritual lives of local people and promoting ethnic cultural values, especially intangible cultural heritages of the "Space of gong culture in the Vietnam Highlands".

Speaking at the meeting, Lieutenant General Vi Van Long congratulated the great achievements attained by the reputable persons of Dak Lak province in recent years.

Lieutenant General Vi Van Long emphasized that the Ministry of Public Security always coordinates closely with ethnic minorities to maintain political security, social order and safety, contributing to building a stable and prosperous life in the region.

He also thanked local people for their great support for the police forces in fulfilling their assigned tasks in the region.

Lieutenant General Vi Van Long hoped in the coming time, the reputable persons of Dak Lak province will continue cementing solidarity of all ethnic minorities, and serve as a bridge between the locals and the authorities at all levels while actively mobilizing all people to implement the guidelines and policies of the Party and the State.

Dak Lak province’s reputable persons were also urged to put on the alert against plots of the hostile forces to provoke local people into claiming separatism and autonomy or practicing free migration. According to General Long, such activities of reputable persons can contribute largely to ensuring security and order in the locality, and help the police successfully fulfill all their assigned tasks.
