PSNews – Having travelled 300 km, the working team of the Division of Social Order and Administrative Management under the Dak Nong Provincial Police Department reached Binh Duong General Hospital on September 19 to issue an ID card to patient Tran Xuan Thuy.

Patient Tran Xuan Thuy was born in 1977 and is resident of Dac Ru Commune, Dak Lap District, Dak Nong Province.

After a traffic accident in Binh Duong, Thuy has been taken to Binh Duong Provincial Hospital, which is 300 km far away from his resident place in Dak Nong. He is now suffering serious ailment and unable to move.

The treatment has cost him a lot of money while his family is very poor. As Thuy had lost his ID card, he could not get medical insurance benefits.

Having recognized his situation, Director of the Dak Nong Provincial Police Department assigned the Division of Social Order and Administrative Management to re-issue an ID card to Thuy at Binh Duong Provincial Hospital.

Thuy’s family was so moved by the high sense of responsibility of the local police.

Earlier on July 10, a working team of the Division of Social Order and Administrative Management under the Dak Nong Provincial Police Department also traveled nearly 300 km from Dak Nong to Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City to re-issue an ID card to seriously ill patient Nguyen Duc Huy (born in 1987, residing at Dak N’drung Commune, Dak Song District, Dak Nong Province).
