Dak Nong police officers active in blood donation

PSNews - Nearly 600 young police officers and soldiers of the Dak Nong Provincial Police on August 14 joined a blood donation drive in response to the campaign "Pink Summer" 2018.

The donation drive in response to the campaign "Pink Summer" 2018 was organized by the Youth Union chapter of the Dak Nong Provincial Police Department in collaboration with the Dak Nong Provincial Red Cross Association.

Speaking at the event, Senior Colonel Le Vinh Quy, Deputy Director of the Dak Nong Provincial Police Department stated that the donated blood is used in treating ill people and ill police officers. Therefore, each volunteer should actively respond to the voluntary blood donation movement as this is the great responsibility of each police officer.

After the drive, over 500 blood units were collected, which reflected the good attitude, the noble deed and humane spirit of the Dak Nong police's youths.

This was the second blood donation drive organized by the provincial police force in collaboration with Dak Nong Provincial Red Cross Association in 2018. It was also one of the activities to celebrate the 73rd Traditional Day of the Public Security Forces (August 19, 1945-2018) and the Vietnam National Day (September 2, 1945-2018).
