At this point, the sector has crafted specific plans to protect Party congresses at all local levels and the 13th National Party Congress, as well as to safeguard trials on political, economic and corruption-related cases.

In 2019, the Department of Internal Security, in coordination with the Department of Security Investigation and local police forces, investigated and handled security-related criminal cases, and prosecuted more than 10 persons involved.

The department should also attach special importance to Party and force building and enhance the observance of the People's Public Security Forces’ discipline and regulations. Accordingly, leaders and high-ranking officers at the department should set examples at work and in following the laws and regulations.
