Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam receives Chinese State Security delegation

PSNews-Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security received a delegation of the Ministry of State Security of China, led by Mr. Gao Jin Yi, Vice Director of the Shansi Provincial Security Department.

Deputy Minister Nam stressed that bilateral relations between China and Vietnam have recently seen a number of developments in various areas.

Vietnam and China have enjoyed the strategic comprehensive partnership. Top leaders of the two countries often pay working visits to the other country to promote and deepen the Vietnam - China relationship with the focus given on strengthening political trust and bolstering comprehensive cooperation between the two countries to a new height.

Cooperation between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Ministry of State Security of China have also witnessed fine outcomes.

Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam highly appreciated the cooperation with the Ministry of State Security of China in the field of protection of national security, and hoped that the relationship between the two ministries would be further strengthened in the future.

To meet this end, the Vietnamese Deputy Minister suggested, both sides continue to exchange information about situations and to share experience in order to boost bilateral ties and cooperation between the two nations in general and between the two ministries in particular.

It is also important to effectively implement mechanisms of bilateral cooperation to strengthen exchange of information, policy consultation and experiences in preventing crimes against the national security of each country.

The Chinese Vice Director thanked the Vietnamese Deputy Minister for his warm reception and affirmed that he would try to make more contribution to promoting cooperation between the two countries and the two ministries.
