PSNews – Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security on October 11 received Mr. Christopher Ford, visiting U.S Assistant Secretary of State for International Security and Non-Proliferation.

Deputy Minister Nam stressed that relations between the two countries in general and between the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) and law enforcement agencies of Vietnam and the U.S in particular have been thriving, while the bilateral cooperation between the two sides has seen positive developments with important outcomes in all aspects.
Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam hoped that Ford would continue to make contributions to strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries as well as expanding the cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two sides, for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and world.

Ford thanks the host for his kind reception, and expressed his hope that the cooperation between relevant agencies of the U.S and the MPS of Vietnam would be further promoted, contributing to enhancing ties and cooperation between the two countries.
