Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam receives delegation of the Laos-Vietnam Friendship Association

PSNews - Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, member of the Central MPS Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security on November 23 received a visiting delegation of the Laos-Vietnam Friendship Association.

The delegation of the  Laos-Vietnam Friendship Association led by Mr. Vilayvong Bouddakham, member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, Chairman of the Planning, Finance and Auditing Committee of the National Assembly, and Chairman of the Laos-Vietnam Friendship Association, paid a working visit to Vietnam.

On behalf of the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam affirmed the longstanding close ties between Vietnam and Laos. The peoples of Vietnam and Laos have together built a traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation, which is the fundamental factor to create the strength of both sides and ensure the success in the revolutionary cause of each country.

The Deputy Minister also highlighted the effective cooperation between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and Laos Police Force during the historical struggle for national independence and in current building and defense of each country.

At the present, the cooperation between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and Laos Police Force continues to be strengthened and developed in all areas, deserving to be a reliable force in safeguarding the Party, the political system and the peaceful life for the people of each country.

Mr. Vilayvong Bouddakham thanked the Vietnamese Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam for the warm welcome and expressed his pleasure at the recent positive developments in the Laos- Vietnam relationship. He also thanked the Vietnam Government and people for the great support and assistance to Laos over the past years.
