Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam works with Son La Police Department
Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security on March 26 had a meeting with the Son La Provincial Police Department to review their task performance over the past time.

At the meeting, leaders of the Son La Provincial Police Department briefed the Deputy Minister and other delegates on their results of local security and order protection over the first quarter of 2020.
Reports read, the local police forces have deployed 664 full-time police officers to 197 local communes and townships, contributing significantly to maintaining political security, order and security at the grassroots level in the province.
In addition, they have taken various preventive measures against COVID-19 infection. So far, there have been no cases of Covid-19 infection in the locality.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam recognized and spoke highly of the achievements gained by the Son La provincial police over the past time.
The Deputy Minister requested the Son La provincial police to strictly follow the MPS’s directions on Covid-19 prevention and control.
In the coming time, they should pay due attention to ensuring internal political security, cultural and ideological security, and protecting absolute security and safety for Party Congresses at all levels in preparation for the 13th National Party Congress.
Further, the Deputy Minister urged them to draw up specific and practical plans to celebrate the 75th founding anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces and the 15th Festive Day of “All people protecting National Security”.
